This plan encompasses ground protection using tarps and plywood, bin placement, and safety measures to ensure the well-being of everyone on-site.

Step 2: Climb Up

At GV Roofs, our approach to roofing varies depending on the task at hand, whether it’s repair, maintenance, installation, or replacement. Safety is paramount, and we start by securing our crew with anchors, ropes, and harnesses. We then either remove the existing roof or apply the initial waterproofing layer. Next, we install a waterproofing membrane around vulnerable areas like vents, valleys, chimneys, and skylights. Finally, we expertly lay down the chosen roofing material, which could be shingles, torch-on, metal, or cedar shakes, along with necessary finishing touches.

Step 3: Clean Up

Outdoor Power Outlets:

Where are your outdoor power outlets located? If none are available, can you provide power from inside the house during work hours?

Plant Protection:

Are there specific plants, trees, shrubs, or flowers that require special protection during the roofing project?

Bin Placement:

Our bin will be placed on your driveway. Which side of the driveway is more suitable for you (if applicable)?

Furniture and Planters:

We’ll need patio furniture, planters, flower baskets, etc., moved away from the house. Can you handle this, or do you need our assistance?
