GoodVans Roofing Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between GoodVans Roofing (“Company”) and its clients (“Client”) regarding roofing services. By hiring our services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Scope of Work

GoodVans Roofing will provide roofing services as outlined in the approved quote, proposal, or service agreement.

Any additional work, modifications, or extras requested after approval may require a separate written agreement and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

To secure roofing services, the following payment terms apply:

• A deposit may be required before work begins.

• Remaining balances are due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed.

• Late payments may be subject to interest charges or collection actions where applicable.

4. Warranties & Guarantees

GoodVans Roofing provides warranties on workmanship in accordance with the agreed project scope.

Material warranties may also apply based on manufacturer terms and product eligibility.

5. Liability & Insurance

GoodVans Roofing maintains appropriate liability insurance for roofing operations.

While reasonable care is taken during all projects, the Company shall not be responsible for damages caused by circumstances beyond its control.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property

• Ensure ownership or authorization for roofing work

• Remove or protect valuables where necessary

• Notify the Company of any site-specific concerns

7. Changes & Additional Work

Any project changes, upgrades, or additional services requested after approval must be agreed to in writing and may affect project pricing and timelines.

8. Project Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement through written notice.

The Client remains responsible for payment of completed work and any approved materials or services already provided.

9. Warranty & Maintenance

Roofing systems require proper maintenance.

Warranty coverage may be limited or void if damage results from neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized repairs, weather-related events, or external causes.

10. Limitation of Liability

GoodVans Roofing is not liable for:

• Damage caused by severe weather, natural disasters, or external factors

• Consequential or indirect damages

• Existing structural or hidden property issues not visible before work begins

11. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold GoodVans Roofing harmless from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from negligence, misuse, or unauthorized modifications after project completion.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation before legal action.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

14. Notices

All formal notices or communications related to these Terms should be provided in writing.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Waiver

Failure by the Company to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right.

17. Assignment

GoodVans Roofing reserves the right to assign or transfer obligations under these Terms when necessary.

18. Client Testimonials

The Company may request permission to use project feedback, reviews, or testimonials for marketing purposes.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the Company and the Client and supersede any prior discussions or understandings.

20. Acceptance

By using GoodVans Roofing services, the Client acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
